The PWRDF is a response by Canadian Anglicans to the gospel call to bear witness to God's healing love in a broken world. Inspired by the vision of a spirit-filled community of hope, PWRDF walks together with partners in Canada and overseas, to share in the creation of a more just and peaceful world. In joy and struggle, the Primate's Fund engages in development work, responds to emergencies, works to protect refugees and educates and advocates for change.

top...Telecare
Telecare was instituted as a means of staying in touch with our fellow parishioners.
A small team contacts each family on our parish list every three months to 'touch base'...see how things are going in their lives and if there's any needs, those will be addressed and the appropriate follow up arranged.

top...Nursery
Our Nursery is clean and bright and, along with the babies, there are caring adults that enjoy their time together with the wee ones on Sunday mornings. The Nursery is available for our 10:30am service.
top...Youth
Our vision for comprehensive youth ministry is to...
Empower youth to live as disciples of Jesus Christ today.
To draw youth to responsible participation in the life mission and work of the Christian Church.
And to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.
One of the ways we were able to serve our youth this year was to participate in the St. Peter's Lutheran Church youth programs. Each Friday there was a 'games and discussion' night. We were excited for our youth to participate in this program as were the folks at St. Peters.
In addition to the program at St. Peter's, we will be holding our regular Sunday 10:30 am youth group at the Holy Spirit School.
Traditionally, our youth have been involved in the following activities throughout the year...
Climb for wilderness
30 hour famine
Hiking
Skating
Bowling
Going out for ice-cream (when in Cochrane...do as the Cochranites!)
