As you know, one of our parishoners, Dr. Jen Singh, ministeries weekly at St. Barnabas Church on the Tsuut'ina nation. She has asked if we at All Saints could help her with some Christmas baking treats.

From Dr Jen Singh

Greetings All Saints, from St. Barnabas Church Tsuut’ina!  We are really grateful for all of your prayers over the past two-and-a-half months as we have started services again.  Thank you as well for the wonderful meals that you have provided for our weekly fellowship time at the end of the service.  They have been enjoyed!

It has been a very fruitful time in the life of our parish and the people of Tsuut’ina are so happy and grateful that weekly services are happening at St. Barnabas.  People from the community who have not come out to Sunday services for years have started to attend again, and three of our community Elders are regular attenders.  We have been involved in some community wide prayer meetings over the past few months, assembling Christmas hampers, and one of our members was even asked to pray at the inauguration service of the new Chief and Council a few weeks ago.

As Christmas quickly approaches, we would like to extend an invitation, to those who are interested, to join us for our Christmas Eve service at 4:00pm on Tuesday December 24th.  Of course, we are not trying to divert any of you from attending at All Saints!  For our Christmas Eve service, we are in need of some Christmas baking as we are hosting a time for the kids to go tobogganing before the service starts (at 3:00pm), and are hoping to serve hot-chocolate and cookies.  We are in need of about 6-8 dozen cookies so if you are able and interested, you could drop them to the church by Sunday the 22nd.

note: The church office will be open to accept cookie donations at these times.
Thurs, Dec 19 from 8:45am - 2:45pm
Fri, Dec 20 from 9:30am - 11:30am
Sunday, Dec 22 between 9:45am - 11:30am

If you are interested in joining us on Christmas Eve, please contact Jen for directions (Jennifer.Singh@ambrose.edu), as finding St. Barnabas in Tsuut’ina is like trying to find a needle in the haystack!

Thank you again for being mindful of us and your continual prayers.  In this Season of Advent, we rejoice in the fellowship we share, at All Saints and St. Barnabas, in family of God!

God Bless You All.
