CHILDREN AND INFANTS

We offer something for every age group. 

We are grateful to our dedicated volunteers who give their time to this valuable ministry.  Your prayerful consideration in assisting with these programs is appreciated.  If you would like to help in one of the programs, please call the office (932-6556) or speak to Elizabeth.

The children begin each Sunday in church.  They leave for Sunday School following the children’s talk and return in time for Eucharist.

Nursery
Nursery is available for infants and toddlers every Sunday, throughout the 10:30 Service in our BIG, BRIGHT and FUN new Nursery space (just down the hallway from our worship space).  Our Coordinators will ensure that your children are safe and happy.

Young Children and Worship
This is a Montessori-based program for children aged 3 to Kindergarten.   

The emphasis is on experiencing God, rather than being told about God.  The time together begins with a greeting and involves liturgical worship, sacred story, wondering questions, response time (simple crafts and games), bible reading, and prayer.  Following a blessing, the children return to church in time for Eucharist. 

This group meets down the hall from the foyer and on your left.

Sunday Surprise
We are using a theme-based, multi-intelligence program called "Workshop Rotation" for our children in Grades 1 to 5.   

They are divided into 2 groups, grades 1-2 and grades 3-5. They will learn about the same story for about 4 weeks and in that time will take part in a wide variety of creative activities.  The children meet in the family centre.

Youth – No Limits
We have 2 youth programs for grades 6 to 8 and 9 to 12.  

We also open up 'the garage'...a safe, friendly and Christ-centered environment...on Friday nights for youth in grades 6 - 12.
