Brandon studied theology at Wycliffe College in Toronto after a Master of Arts in the History of Church and Theology from the Catholic University Leuven in Belgium where he focussed on 20th century developments in church architecture. Prior to living and studying in Belgium Brandon studied in Calgary at Rocky Mountain College where he majored in Christian Spirituality.
The rootedness in tradition, the beauty of the liturgy, and the capacity for intellectual engagement with faith that are natural to the Anglican tradition drew him to pursue ordination and study for a M.Div. at Wycliffe College in Toronto.
Brandon is passionate about spiritual formation. His call is to equip people to live into the fullness of the life God has for them through a life of service rooted in communion with God.
Brandon and his wife Deanna became Anglicans while in Belgium, but before that were members of a Baptist church where Brandon served as a youth pastor and worked at summer camps. Growing up in Lacombe, Brandon attended the Roman Catholic Church, so it seems almost inevitable that he should land in the Anglican Church where he can have the best of both worlds.
Brandon, Deanna, and their two sons, Xander and Levi are excited to be a part of what Christ is doing in All Saints, Cochrane.

Creator, you made all people of every land. In the spirit of respect and truth, we honour the ancestral Treaty 7 territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the Siksika, Kainai and Piikani Nations, the Stoney Nakoda, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Wesley Nations, and the Tsuu T'ina Nation. We acknowledge the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region Three.
In the spirit of reconciliation and because we are all treaty people, we also acknowledge all people who make their homes in the traditional Treaty 7 territory of southern Alberta.
