The Archbishop and the Diocesan COVID-19 Task Force have released new guidelines as of September 2. Services may continue with some restrictions.

The main points are:

  • in-person worship may continue (but might be suspended with short notice)
  • mandatory use of masks
  • appropriate distancing between individuals and cohorts
  • hand washing/sanitizing continues
  • maximum participants in service depends on what the venue can accomodate
  • pre-registration to be implemented
  • social functions (coffee time, etc.) whether indoor or outdoor are  suspeneded

The COVID-19 Task Force will meet again next week to review any new guidelines and requirements presented by the Government.
